What this site collects
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics (page URL, referrer, country, device type). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual users across sessions. No cookie banner is required. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No third-party advertising or other tracking scripts are used.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Vercel may process server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for operational and security purposes. This processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel's privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
Fonts
This site uses Google Fonts (Geist Sans, Geist Mono) served through Next.js font optimization. Fonts are self-hosted at build time — no requests are made to Google servers when you visit this site.
External links
This site links to GitHub (github.com), npm (npmjs.com), and Ko-fi (ko-fi.com). These services have their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data processing.
The CLI tool
The SafeInstall CLI runs locally on your machine. It fetches package metadata from the npm registry (or your configured registry) to evaluate install policy. It does not send telemetry, analytics, or any data to SafeInstall servers. There are no SafeInstall servers.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or port any personal data we hold about you. Since we do not actively collect personal data, there is generally nothing to act on. If you believe otherwise, contact us at the email above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
